Learn more about CSV and Excel formatter
Clean up and standardize CSV files: decimal separators, dates, columns, duplicates and filters. Save recipes and reuse them every month. No uploads.
- Is my data uploaded to a server?
- No. All processing happens in your browser. That helps with privacy rules, because customer and employee data never goes to a third party.
- Does it work with large files?
- Yes, up to 100 MB. The preview shows the first rows, and the whole file is processed in the background when you download.
- Why does my CSV open with garbled characters in Excel?
- Excel does not detect UTF-8 unless the file starts with a special mark. Export with "UTF-8 for Excel" and the characters will show correctly.
- Does it work with Excel spreadsheets?
- Yes. Open .xlsx, .xls or .ods files and choose the sheet. Dates arrive as 2026-10-15 and numbers without formatting, and the steps convert them to the format you want. You can download the result as CSV or Excel.
- What is a recipe?
- It is the list of steps you built. Save it with a name and use it again on the next file, without redoing anything. You can also download the recipe and send it to a coworker.
