Learn more about Text to binary
Convert text to binary code, hexadecimal, decimal (ASCII) or octal, and decode it back to text. Supports accents. Free.
- What is the difference between "UTF-8 bytes" and "code of each character"?
- Plain letters are the same in both modes. An accented "é" becomes two bytes in UTF-8 (195 and 169) but has a single Unicode code (233). Use bytes for computing and character codes for ASCII and Unicode tables.
- Do I need to separate the numbers to decode?
- Not always. In binary and hexadecimal, the tool also reads everything joined together, cutting it into blocks of 8 bits or 2 digits.
